Wyoming School Parent Teacher Organization
The goal of the PTO is to enhance our children’s opportunities to learn and grow while creating a sense of belonging and community. With a PTO membership, your family will able to participate in all PTO programs and events as well as gain access to the Wyoming School Directory.
Your family can join the PTO for $20 per year.
What does the PTO do with your money? Your PTO dollars support many important and fulfilling programs for our children and allow the PTO to enrich their learning environment in other ways too! Here are a few examples of how the PTO enhances the daily lives of Wyoming School students:
A children’s book author visits our school each year.
A variety of cultural programs and special assemblies are presented each year.
The PTO subsidizes field trip expenses and provides all new students with a Wyoming field trip t-shirt.
Books and other necessities are purchased for the library and computer lab.
Meetings, newsletters and emails keep you informed.
Teacher mini-grants, games for indoor recess, teaching tools and playground equipment are provided and maintained, including the Gaga pit at Slayton Field.
GoNoodle program to engage children in active participation while learning.
Leveled reading books to provide more variety in the classroom for the students.
When you create your account on this website, you will be able to tell us whether you want your information entered into our secure online directory. The directory will be available to all PTO members here (log-in required). You can also purchase the app for a nominal fee so that you can access the information on the go. More information will become available in August.
